Women’s volunteer work is the point of origin of the YWCA movement and continues to be the foundation of our collective efforts today.

YWCA volunteers are members, program participants and clients, avowed feminists, and community do-gooders who share their time, skills, and passion with our agency and our community.

We encourage community members who are interested in volunteering to come check out the YW and to meet with us to identify what gifts, talents and skills they are interested in sharing, as well as what level of commitment they are interested in. We are always seeking volunteers to: We welcome all individuals (including individuals of any age or gender-identity, as well as those who require special accommodations) to connect with us about volunteering. YWCA Moncton is also regularly able to welcome student placements from community Note: all volunteers must complete a Child Abuse Registry Check with the Department of Social Development, as well as a vulnerable sector check with the Codiac RCMP. Some positions may also require a criminal record check.
